Energy Assets Networks (EAN) and Energy Assets Pipelines (EAP), an IDNO and IGT respectively, which are part of the Energy Assets Group, have released a brand new secure online interface for their customers to quickly and easily track the legal status of their utility projects in real time.

The state-of-the-art service uses cutting edge technology and is pioneering the way in project administration and customer expectation management. We believe Milestone is the first online direct access portal of its kind in the ICP and UIP industry. The portal will allow all of EAN and EAP clients to determine the current status of their individual projects, at a glance, at any time they wish confident in the knowledge that their legal information is being stored securely and safely.

Innovation:

At Energy Assets we focus on innovation, and never stand still, to ensure we continue to develop, grow and provide a service of excellence for our customers.  Milestone delivers this as it is available 24/7 and 365 days a year, replacing the previous monthly reporting system. The instant access to legal information provided by Milestone also efficiently and easily accommodates an expedited service for time-sensitive projects. This service innovation facilitates an open dialogue and grants instant access to real-time reports and information, and will ultimately enhance the customer experience.

Security:
Security is key with any data. This streamlined process is offered without compromising any safety or security. Milestone guarantees the security and safe-handling of your data. Where other methods of data transfer, such as emails, are less secure, Milestone encrypts your data so you have peace of mind.

Expediting completion times:
The majority of legal work at EAN and EAP is completed within a KPI of 12 weeks. The creation of Milestone has already reaped positive proven statistics during its beta stages. One such example is the expedited legal completion time on substations and expedited easements averaging at five and three weeks respectively. Milestone has also delivered a new company record in its initial launch. From receipt of the initial Design and Legal submission form of a land rights project for an asset connection from the customer, which ensures the team completed this in just seven days ensure we provide an immediate and accurate service.

Veronica Burnett, Legal Manager for EAN and EAP says: “I believe the introduction of this innovative new interface will greatly enhance the communications between the Legal Department, the ICP or UIP and customers alike. It will help provide them with access to real-time reporting which will be of particular benefit for their time sensitive projects.”

Customer feedback:
Milestone is making an impression on clients who were part of the beta programme:

“A great way to streamline the legal process. Easy to use with a clear format; it is or will be beneficial for all parties involved.” – Utilex Connections.

The Energy Assets team:
Milestone is offered and delivered by Energy Assets’ experienced experts and our dedicated Land Rights Department who have a proven track record of delivering to meet and exceed our customers’ requirements. EAN and EAP have been delivering excellence in the utility networks asset adoption market since their formation only three years ago. With Milestone being the latest client-focus offering from the market leaders, it’s not difficult to see why we are the First Name for the Final Mile.
