Ensuring every clients electrical networks are operating efficiently and to the highest level of safety is important to Energy Assets Networks (EA Networks).
Typically, all new developments require a new electricity distribution network and those networks are installed by a qualified Independent Connection Provider (ICP) accredited to the Lloyds Register National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS). EA Networks manage thousands of ‘final mile’ electricity connection points for residential housing schemes and industrial and commercial developments. As an Ofgem regulated Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) EA Networks adopts new electricity distribution assets installed by ICPs after agreeing the value of the assets.
For 18 months EA Networks has worked with such an ICP, Sinewave Energy Solutions, a specialist engineering company who provide High and Low voltage electrical services across the UK. Sinewave Energy Solutions delivers turnkey solutions for any electrical challenge up to 132kv. EA Networks assisted Sinewave with a number of newly constructed assets to procure new electricity distribution assets through an ‘asset value’ model.
Director Adam Woodley said: “We chose to work with Energy Assets Networks for a number of reasons. One of the key benefits was their competitive and flexible pricing structure. We also knew EA Networks design requirements also conformed to industry standards and provided a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
The responsiveness of EA Networks Team to our requirements enabled the accelerating network design and approvals to deliver our projects in the shortest possible timescales. Delivering efficiency and expertise with solutions, certification and compliance against our contracted SLAs ensured the team kept us on track. This was also evident when the team including Jayson Whitaker, MD, Symon Gray, Compliance and Standards Manager, and Eugene Darmody, Business Development Manager, often went above and beyond by making themselves available to us out of hours for which we were grateful.
EA Networks is generally involved in each of our tenders now due to the relationship we’ve development and in recognition of the ease in how they provide bespoke asset-based innovation and management advice tailored to our delivery.”
