About Energy Assets Networks

About Energy Assets Networks

We are authorised to own and manage final mile gas, electricity and fibre networks serving residential and commercial developments. We partner with housebuilders, developers, major construction companies and contractors to provide competitive asset values and expert technical support linked to local utility connections.

We have built a portfolio comprising thousands of domestic connection points, but one of our key success factors has been our flexible approach to asset types. This ethos has driven growth in the commercial arena, in areas such as EV charging infrastructure and large data centres.

Our Networks

Electricity networks
Energy Assets Networks is an independent distribution network operator (IDNO). We have achieved significant success in electricity network adoption in just a few years since our launch.

This is due to our close working relationships with Independent Connection Providers and developers, our flexible approach to asset values and our unerring focus on customer service.

Gas networks
As an Ofgem regulated Independent Gas Transporter (IGT), Energy Assets Pipelines is authorised to adopt, own and maintain new gas distribution assets constructed by Utility Infrastructure Providers.

We are also a Meter Asset Manager, enabling us to supply SMETS2 smart gas meters, which can speed up project progress for UIPs.

Fibre networks
We are all increasingly connected digitally, whether at home or at work. For business or pleasure. So our specialist division – Energy Assets Fibre – has developed a 1GB offer that enables homeowners ‘go digital’ as soon as they move in to their new home.

Every aspect of our work is underpinned by industry-approved design, with dedicated business development managers supporting our developer and construction partners every step of the way.

Multi-utility services
Our accreditations make us the perfect multi-utility local network provider. Our in-house technical, legal and administrative resources add value at every stage of the adoption process. From initial consultation and asset valuation through to network ownership agreements, we’re the first name for the final mile.
